The North Shore of Pittsburgh is best known as the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers. Both PNC Park and Heinz Field are great stadiums, and PNC Park is nationally recognized as one of the best ballparks. There, you will also find the Warhol Museum, Children's Museum, and National Aviary.

Station Square & Mount Washington

Station square contains some restaraunts and a couple relics of Pittsburgh's steel era. However, the real treat is to take the incline up Mount Washington for the hands-down best view of the city. The Dusqusne Incline has free parking at the base and is a $5 round trip for adults and $2.50 round trip for children. The incline is extremely popular with tourists, but is also a part of the public transit and locals use it for everyday transportation as well.
