I am in the process of piecing together a library of programs/scripts designed to work on a general GNU-Linux installation. Some of the programs (.m files) require GNU Octave (www.octave.org/) which is a freely distributable Matlab like program. I have tested the code on my machines (Fedora Core Linux, Ubuntu Linux and Macintosh OS X Tiger), but no guarantees are made. You are free to use and distribute the code under the conditions implicit in the GNU Public License.
