mandelbrot_area():
  Estimate the area of the Mandelbrot set.

  For 200 random values C = X + i*Y
  in the complex circle of radius 2,  carry out up to 100 iterations of the map
  Z(n+1) = Z(n)^2 + C.
  If the iterates stay in the circle of radius 2,
  then C is a member of the Mandelbrot set.
