THE MOVIE PLOT

Can you recognize a movie from its plot (or a part of it)?

1. A desperate runaway has a brief encounter with a sympathetic con artist. Later, she kills a woman and steals her shoes. Pursued by the woman's sister, she searches for the con artist, while relying on chance acquaintances who are stupid, callous, and timid.
2. A family discovers a band of outlaws behind their home. They panic until their eldest son promises to protect them. Using his rifle, he is able to shoot four of them, but the ringleader gets away.
3. During a cruise, a young woman encounters a tropical island native. The native is smitten by her, and easily tricked into leaving his home, and entering a career in show business. One day, he snaps, takes the woman hostage, and embarks on a bloody spree of violence.
4. A peace-loving country is the victim of a brutal foreign invasion. Fred escapes, and reaches a band of young men with special powers who might be able to help. He convinces them to return with him on a dangerous underwater journey.
5. A man has broken up his musical group, and resolved to try to settle down with a woman and young boy. A dim-witted drifter brutally murders him.
