The Nth Degree
Ordinal Movie Titles
There's a difference between "six" and "sixth",
the difference between "six days" and "the sixth day". Counting
numbers are called "cardinals" and ordering numbers are called
"ordinals". In this list, we look at some movie titles that include
an ordinal number. In some cases, it's hard to judge exactly how
the number is being used, but let's say an ordinal usage includes
telephone numbers, addresses, floors in a building, flight numbers,
highway designators, room numbers, and so on.
