**fd1d_advection_lax_test**,
a FORTRAN90 code which
calls fd1d_advection_lax(), which
applies the finite difference method to solve the time-dependent
advection equation ut = - c * ux in one spatial dimension, with
a constant velocity, using the Lax method for the time,
writing graphics files for processing by gnuplot.

fd1d_advection_lax, a FORTRAN90 code which applies the finite difference method (FDM) to solve the time-dependent advection equation ut = - c * ux in one spatial dimension, with a constant velocity, using the Lax method to treat the time derivative, writing graphics files for processing by gnuplot.

- fd1d_advection_lax_test.sh, runs all the tests.
- fd1d_advection_lax_test.txt, the output file.

- fd1d_advection_lax_data.txt, the solution data.
- fd1d_advection_lax_commands.txt, gnuplot commands to plot the data.
- fd1d_advection_lax.png, a (not very satisfactory) image of the solution.
