This summer, I am teaching a scientific communication class to
graduate students.  Each student is required to write some kind of
document, which might be a potential journal article, a thesis
chapter, or an overview of some area (moving mesh methods, research
in astrocytes).

  I have promised the students that, after I review and edit their
first draft, their second draft will be submitted to an anonymous
referee.  

  As you can guess by now, I am hoping you would be willing to consider
being an anonymous referee for one document by one student one time.

  If you think you would be willing to do this, I will probably have
the second drafts turned in by the end of June, and would send you
a PDF to mark up and comment on.  The student will not know your name
nor communicate with you directly.
