toms886_test, a C code which calls toms886() to implement an interpolation procedure based on "Padua points", defined in the square [-1,+1]^2, whose interpolating power is especially good. It is possible to map these points to the general rectangle, ellipse or triangle to do interpolation on these regions as well.

toms886, a C code which defines the Padua points for interpolation in a 2D region, including the rectangle, triangle, and ellipse, by Marco Caliari, Stefano de Marchi, Marco Vianello. This is a version of ACM TOMS algorithm 886.
ELLIPSE applies the procedure to an ellipse.
RECTANGLE applies the procedure to a rectangle.
TRIANGLE applies the procedure to a triangle.
