optimization_parabolic, investigates the search for the minimizer of a function through the use of parabolic interpolation.

• hump.m, evaluates the hump function.
• parabola_critical.m, computes the critical point of a parabola.

• parabolic_minimizer.m, uses repeated parabolic interpolation to find a minimizer of a function.

• sag.m, evaluates the "sag()" test function to be minimized.
