In 1996, I worked on a project in which I computed flow sensititivies with respect to the Reynolds number, and used these in a sort of Taylor series expansion, so that flows with larger Reynolds numbers could be represented by their first six coefficients in the Taylor expansion.
These notes describe the theory behind the approximation, and the methods used to determine the sensitivities, and to solve the system that determines the appropriate Taylor series coefficients at a new Reynolds number.
