Computational Geometry Lab on Searching a Triangulation

CG_LAB_SEARCH_TRIANGULATION.TEX is the LaTeX source for a computer laboratory assignment on searching a triangulation to determine which triangle (if any) contains a given point.

A PDF version of the laborary is available in ../../presentations/cg_lab_search_triangulationi.pdf.

The following files constitute the LaTeX file:

• cg_lab_search_triangulation.tex, the main LaTeX file. I needed to use pdflatex to compile this.
• box3_nodes.txt, the node coordinates of the BOX3 triangulation.
• box3_triangles.txt, the list of nodes that make each element of the BOX3 triangulation.
• box3_neighbors.txt, the neighbor triangle list of the BOX3 triangulation.
• box3_triangulation.png, a PNG image of the BOX3 triangulation.
• point_triangle_orientation.png, a PNG image of a question about point inclusion in a triangle.
