• QuickTime or QuickTime Player can display an MOV file.

Programs to convert a file to MOV format:

• QuickTime Pro can convert a sequence of PNG files or JPEG files to a QuickTime movie, and export that movie as an MOV file.
• QuickTime or QuickTime Player can save an animation as an MOV file.
• QuickTime Pro can convert a sequence of PNG files to a QuickTime movie, and export that movie as an MOV file.

Programs to an MOV file to another format:

• QuickTime or QuickTime Player can save a MOV file as an MP4 file.
